Gestational surrogacy is a form of assisted reproduction where a woman (known as the gestational surrogate or carrier) becomes pregnant and gives birth to a child for someone else—the intended parents—without contributing any genetic material. The embryo is created via in vitro fertilization (IVF) using the egg and sperm from the intended parents or donors, and is then implanted in the surrogate’s uterus. This ensures the surrogate has no biological connection to the child.

While adoption is a great option as well, we have decided to go the route of surrogacy.
